Structural design

Design of sheet-metal parts of the car body in white. Solutions for mounting wiring harnesses, control units, interior panels, and safety components. Definition of RPS and measuring points, tolerance calculations, and creation of complete drawing documentation, including homologation documents.

Engineering of exterior parts, mainly plastic, mounted on the body in white. Selection of production technology, design of the part attachment concept, consideration of homologation requirements, production tolerances, and thermal expansion, fine-tuning of moldability and optimal moldflow.

Development of conceptual cross-sections based on the exterior and interior design serving as a basis for surfacing and subsequent series engineering. Support of the design process, including verification of compliance with defined targets and legislative requirements. Designing of the digital concept car and preparation of police surfaces.

Integration of control units, antennas, audio systems, and wiring harnesses with an emphasis on packaging constraints and service access. Solutions are developed in line with the overall vehicle architecture.

Planning and evaluation of strength, static, dynamic, and thermal tests. Designs are developed with real-world loads, operating conditions, and series production in mind.

Technical support from the first design, through drawing documentation, to the start of production. This includes manufacturer support and the development of test equipment.
